Independent watchmaking from a discreet atelier above Lake Neuchâtel. Movement-first construction, finished and adjusted by hand, in microscopic numbers.
A collaboration between Luca Soprana and master knife-maker Emmanuel Esposito. At the centre of the dial, a mosaic of black-lip mother-of-pearl — individually hand-sorted fragments, arranged one by one. Behind it, a revised LSTO calibre finished to the same standard of restraint as the piece that carries it.
Each set is unique. No two dials share the same composition.

Three pieces signed under the name Soprana — each a study in restraint, each finished and adjusted in Vaumarcus. Production is limited, deliberately. We make what we can make well.
The first piece signed under the name Soprana. A three-hand dress watch drawn from early twentieth-century tourbillon architecture — straight Geneva stripes, black-polished steel, a transversal bridge of quiet proportion.

A constant-force wristwatch Derek Pratt never had time to finish himself. Rebuilt at Atelier SMA with the blessing of his family — Reuleaux-triangle remontoir, deadbeat seconds, a handful of pieces per year.

Born in Valdagno, Italy, 1974 — fourth generation of a family steeped in horological tradition. Economics and philosophy in Bologna. WOSTEP at twenty-six, training alongside Kari Voutilainen. In 2002, WOSTEP's first Italian instructor.
